Real-Time IoT Based Temperature and NPK Monitoring System Sugarcane-Crop Yield for Increasing

India is the second largest sugarcane producer in the world and contributes to 17% of worldwide sugar production. Even with such an impeccable record of sugarcane production, the crop is still affected throughout India by various environmental stress which inhibit an exquisite yield of the crop. One of the major stress is the Temperature stress on the crop and with the rising global temperature, the crop is at much woes than before. Rise in temperature hinders the optimum growth of the sugarcane crop and in addition it changes the Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium (NPK) content of the soil making it infertile for future crops. This paper aims to provide an effective solution for sugarcane crop management using IOT technology to better monitor NPK, pH and temperature in order to help increase the sugarcane crop yield and produce a better harvest.
