Computer Numerical Simulation and Stability Analysis of Rainfall Infiltration on Cutting Slope Using Finite Element Software

The influence of rainfall on the deformation and stability of the slope is very important. In order to study the deformation law of loess slope deformation and stability under the condition of rainfall infiltration. Taking a loess road cutting slope in Gansu as the research object, a numerical model analysis was carried out using the geotechnical engineering finite element software Plaxis 3D V2020. The conclusion shows that as the slope angle increases, the slope matrix suction gradually decreases, but the reduction is not obvious; as the rainfall rate increases, the saturation at the top of the slope gradually increases; As it increases, the saturation of the water content in the slope gradually develops from the top of the slope to the inside of the slope, and the distribution is relatively uniform. The water velocity in the slope begins to flow from the surface of the slope to the inside of the slope.
