Aseismic design and analysis of a core tube structure with over-limit frame

The height of the core tube structure of an overrun frame is 133.2 m, which is a high-rise building with B-level height overrun. The frame core tube anti-lateral force system with strengthening layer is adopted. The results of response spectrum under frequent earthquakes show that the overall indexes of the two software are close to each other, and both of them meet the requirements of the specification. The results of time-history analysis under frequent earthquakes show that the average base shear in two directions under seven seismic waves is smaller than the base shear by mode decomposition response spectrum method, which indicates that the method is safe and reasonable to analyze structures. The elastic-plastic time-history results under large earthquakes show that the interlayer displacement angle of the structure meets the requirements of the code, the tensile damage degree is greater than the compression damage, and the energy-dissipating members such as frame beams, connecting beams and diagonal braces are destroyed before the frame columns and shear walls, which ensures the structure's failure during large earthquakes. The nonlinear static results under large earthquakes show that the interlayer displacement angle of the structure meets the requirements of the code, and the base shear is not much different from the time-history results of large earthquakes, which are 3-5 times that of the mode decomposition response spectrum method, and meet the requirements of the code. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that the core tube structure of the frame has good seismic performance, which can meet the seismic fortification target of "not bad in small earthquakes, repairable in medium earthquakes, but not falling in large earthquakes".
