Study on Negative Ion-enhanced Dust Sedimentation Technology for Acrylic Corrugated Sheets

Based on the experimental study, we firstly verified the negative ion-based outdoor air purifier built according to "A Negative Ion-based Outdoor Air Purification System" (Patent No.: ZL201720448691.0), and then made an improvement. Under different numbers of negative ion generators, different spacing and inclination angles of acrylic corrugated sheets, we simulated polluted air with mosquito-coil smoke and then analyzed the deposition effects of PM2.5. The results showed that under purification conditions, the negative ion purification unit can improve the PM2.5 sedimentation efficiency more than under the condition of sinking oblique KT plate; the effect of PM2.5 sedimentation in mosquito-repellent incense smoke was the best, which was 58.51%, under the conditions of three negative-ion generators, height of 300 mm from the bottom of the air dust, horizontal distance of 400 mm from the front end of the multi-layer oblique corrugated sheets, pitch of 10 mm, included angle of 160° and length of 400 mm. The findings of the study are instructive for the development of low-speed domestic fresh air systems.
