Design of Narrow-band Absorption and Wide-band Transmission Metasurface

Metasurfaces with wide-band transmission and absorption window is designed and simulated, where such metasurfaces are integrated with lumped resistors, inductors and subwave-length metallic structures. The simulated results show that the transmittance of metasurface is larger than 80% within the frequency range from 1 GHz to 9 GHz, while the absorbance is greater than 80% within the frequency band from 12.2 GHz to 14 GHz. Such proposed metasurfaces exhibit quite good angle-tolerance performance that the transmittance/absorbance remains more than 80% when the incident angle increased up to 45°.
