Plasma Frequency Reduction Factors of Sheet Electron Beam in Rectangular Waveguide

In this paper, the plasma frequency reduction factor (PFRF) of sheet electron beam in rectangular waveguide is presented. Both the fully filled and the partly filled situations are discussed. The solutions of Helmholtz equation inside and outside the sheet electron beam are derived, respectively. Mode of PFRF are discussed and analyzed. Value of PFRF of some modes are compared. The influence of filling factor (w/a) and electronic propagation factor related factor $\gamma$w to the value of PFRF are discussed as well as.
