The therapeutic effects in Inflammatory Bowel Disease of Functional oligosaccharide combined with probiotic

In the world, the incidence of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) caused by the imbalance of intestinal flora is increasing year by year. The traditional medicines usually have side effects. Many studies reported that administration of functional oligosaccharides alone or with probiotic and synbiotics presented a promising potential to treat IBD. Therefore, this review focused on the therapeutic effects of oligosaccharides combined with probiotic in IBD treatment.
