An Influence of the Microfluidic Channel Height and Distribution of Dielectrophoretic Force on the Impedance Extraction in Microfluidic Systems

Biological microparticles were manipulated and controlled using dielectrophoretic force. Cell entrapment, cell separation, and biological cell isolation from a buffer solution have all been accomplished using this approach. Many features of the cell's dielectric properties and shape influence the strength of the dielectrophoretic force. Cell analysis methods that aren't labelled and are invasive are seen as promising. The advantages of these approaches are matched by impedance spectroscopy. The influence of changing the microfluidic channel and dielectrophoresis force on impedance spectroscopy techniques is investigated in this work. The major goal is to boost the system's sensitivity such that it can distinguish between cells with similar dielectric characteristics but different sizes.
