The ICT Competency Training Design for University Teachers

Through the analysis of teacher ICT competency trainings in colleges during the outbreak of COVID-19, the following trends were discovered: colleges tended to have overall systems design; training content highlighted technology and online learning; teachers had multiple choices for LMS and got help from off-campus support; training was mainly from point to surface. Through a literature review and research on problems, this paper detail the design and construction of a training system to improve teachers' ICT competency. The system is divided into framework design, content design, platform design, and implementation plan design.
