Design and Simulation of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Controller for Twin Oar Electric Boat

A permanent magnet synchronous motor controller is designed for the Marine motor of an inland river electric boat. This paper gives the control block diagram of the double motor and designs the control circuit, isolation circuit, drive circuit, inverter circuit and detection circuit of the motor controller. The control circuit uses TI’s TMS320F28335 as the computing chip to control two motors to drive two propellers to power the ship. Because the application of electric ship is not as good as electric car, the design of its controller becomes particularly important. Control algorithm in this paper adopts the principle of vector control algorithm of space vector pulse width modulation, based on the design of permanent magnet synchronous motor hall sensor feedback system, using DSP chip, analyze the feedback data and output control signal control of permanent magnet synchronous motor, gives the circuit design and simulation verification.
