Structural strength analysis of crane setting of 4000t revolving floating crane

Revolving floating crane plays an important role in terminal handling, marine engineering, salvage and channel dredging. With the heavy-duty development of revolving floating crane, ensuring the structural strength of the crane setting has a great impact on the safe operation of the revolving floating crane. In this paper, the structural strength of the crane setting is calculated by the FEM software MSC. Patran / MSC. NASTRAN. The calculated results are compared with the allowable stress value to prove that the structural strength meets the use requirements.
