Performance Improvement of CZTSSe Solar Cell by using Mg-doped ZnO as Window Layer

In this work, the conventional i-ZnO window layer in CZTSSe solar cell is replaced by a n-type Mg doped ZnO, which shows desirable characteristics when it comes to the electrical and optical properties of the TFSC. The simulations with shifted properties of ZnO has been done and the results are encouraging. The highest efficiency is found to be $\sim 15$% with 6% doped ZnO, which is more than the highest ever recorded efficiency of CZTS solar cell $(\sim 12.6$%) till date. The simulations are done with intrinsic and 4, 6% Mg doped ZnO and the results are compared. Also improvement in open circuit voltage, fill factors and current density is observed.
