A Review on Novel Techniques Used in Demand Side Management (DSM)

Demand Side Management (DSM) is the most important part of smart grid. In this paper, some of the previous work in the area of DSM is highlighted which includes the various techniques of DSM such as the development of Home Energy Management Units, use of Wireless Sensor Networks in DSM, incorporation of Renewable Energy Resources in DSM, privacy management, and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms in DSM. This paper provides an insight into the novel techniques that are used in DSM.
