A Proposal toward Standardization of Design Examples for IIR Filter Design Methods

Design methods of IIR filters have been proposed with design examples to present the effectiveness of the design methods. However, we point out that the evaluation of the design methods is biased toward a particular class of IIR filter design problem. Therefore, we propose benchmark problems of frequency selection IIR filters based on the design examples chosen from IEEE Xplore.
