Implementation of Three Input AND Gate Using Polarization Switch

In the field of digital and optical communication logic gates are the building blocks of different arithmetic and logic processors. We all know that AND gate is among one of the fundamental logic gate .In this report, we propose an all-optically controlled three input AND logic gate exploiting semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) based polarization switch (PSW). Frequency encoding technique is utilized here to have a error free communication. We use Gaussian optical signal to simulate the proposed circuit with MATLAB software.
