Research on Parametric Modeling of Type ω Spring Clip Based on NX

The spring clip is the core part of the fastener system, and its 3D model is widely used in design and research. The geometric appearance of the spring clip is simple, but the modeling is more complicated. The key to modeling is to create a central axis. In order to realize the parametric modeling of the type $\omega$ spring clip, the parametric modeling is more general, the parameters of the type $\omega$ spring clip are defined, the category and priority of the parameters are specified, the general equation of the spring clip axis is constructed, and the general equation is transformed into a parametric equation adapted to the NX environment. Finally, a random parameter table of the basic dimension of the $\omega$ shaped spring clip is generated, and the specified parameter spring clip 3D model is successfully constructed in NX, which verifies the correctness and effectiveness of the parametric modeling.
