Correlation between Conductivity of Human Normal Active Renal Tissue and Measurement Frequency Range from 10 Hz to 100 MHz

The purpose of this work is to study the correlation between human normal active renal tissue and the measurement frequency. In this paper, the human normal renal tissues are obtained from negative resection margin of excised benign tumor or lesions. The tissue measured 30 minutes after separation are called active tissue. Conductivity of human normal active renal tissue is measured in the frequency range of 10 Hz to 100 MHz. Correlation between conductivity and measurement frequency is fitted by univariate fitting function. Fitting parameters including coefficient of determination (R-square), sum of squares due to error (SSE) and mean squared error (MSE) are employed to evaluate the precision of fitting functions. Fitting error is used to further compare the fitting functions. The results show that cubic polynomial function has the best goodness of fit in fitting the correlation between human normal active renal tissue and the measurement frequency. The significance of this study is providing new ideas for obtaining more accurate conductivity of human active tissues.
