Research on 5G Network Evaluation System for the Power Scenario

The power communication network is the fundamental for ensuring the security and stability of the power system, whose quality significantly impacts the production, management, and dispatch of the power system. Therefore, it is of great significance to develop a reasonable wireless network evaluation system for the power scenario. In this paper, we first modeled a 5G network quality evaluation index for power scenario, including coverage, performance, and security, which is based on the network requirements of general links in power industry. Then, we put forward the principles of the evaluation system and the methods of quantifying indicators. Finally, this paper presents an index weight calculation algorithm, which can embody the importance of each index objectively and comprehensively.
