Design of a Portable Multi-parameter Tester for Internet of Things

In order to improve the life safety of coal mine workers, a portable multi-parameter tester with Internet of Things function was developed. Using 16-bit ultra-low power consumption microcontroller chip as the control core, combined with electrochemical carbon monoxide/hydrogen sulfide two-in-one sensing element, electrochemical oxygen sensing element, infrared methane/carbon dioxide two-in-one sensing element for five-parameter sensor design, real-time monitoring and early warning of hazardous gas information in the surrounding environment of downhole operators. Through the use of two-in-one probes, the instrument is miniaturized, gas measurement types are diversified, and highly integrated. Combined with multi-axis acceleration sensors to monitor the movement of miners. Using Bluetooth 5.0 BLEMESH to realize the self-organizing network function of the Internet of Things, combined with the underground Bluetooth-enabled monitoring, positioning or life safety monitoring base station, the personal and surrounding environmental information and personnel movement information can be uploaded to the well to realize the monitoring and protection of the personal life safety of personnel, and make up for the lack of personal protective equipment for miners.
