Testing Of Quality Of Water Using SVM

Support vector machine (SVM) classification models for predicting the safety of water in pipelines were presented in this study. We used five (5) water parameters to determine the quality of water:

H, turbidity, color, temperature, COD, and OPR in Baguio City, Balacbac. During testing, the SVM came up with a prediction of 99.25%. Our results show that SVM accuracy is achieved, which indicates that it is the best method to determine water quality. The proposed system determines the quality of water samples using Support Vector Machines (SVMs). Data was collected from the Baguio Water District Site (BWD) and SVM was used to determine the quality of the water. This study helps the City of Baguio monitor the safe condition of the distribution pipes. Our system will give real-time information on the safe condition of the water in different locations.
