Study for Fault Detection Method of Multiple Vehicular Positioning System

We propose the vehicular positioning protect system to make sure not only the accuracy but also the reliability of vehicle positioning information. Since outages and effects of multipath reception on global positioning system signals occur, the vehicle does not have sufficient positioning accuracy for detailed navigational such as vehicle maneuvers and safety. Thus, our vehicular positioning system integrates several different sensing technologies, including a global positioning system, simultaneous localization and mapping, inertial measurement unit, odometer, and environment feature detection and recognition. We compare two positioning systems, vehicular dynamic, lane detection to ensure the stability of the vehicular positioning fusion system. As many new vehicles have pre-installed some of these sensors before sales, the vehicular positioning system saves additional costs.
