Multi-criteria and multi-decision maker ranking of photovoltaic panels in Tunisia

The energy sector, responsible for two-thirds of global greenhouse gas emissions, will become decisive in achieving the objectives of combating climate change. Renewable energies hold an especially important place and in particular solar photovoltaic energy. Photovoltaic panels (PV) do not perform the same functions in terms of several factors, so it is important to select the solar panels that will provide the best performance for some users. In this work, we used a multi-criteria and multi-decision-maker approach to solve the problem of classifying a set of available photovoltaic panels for various users in Tunisia with SPECTRA

The proposed approach for raking the photovoltaic panels is based on the SWARA method to get a relative weight of each criterion then apply the TOPSIS method to rank the alternatives (PV panels). The used data is obtained from the technical sheets of photovoltaic panels. Lastly, we verify the results by applying the VIKOR method.
