Using Regression analysis to explore Sex Health Cognition of Female College Students in China

It is speculated that people with higher education level will pay more attention to personal health and self-protection. This study using regression analysis to explore the sex health cognition and attitude on STD/HIV prevention of female college students in China. The purpose is to understand whether female college students with high education pay more attention to their own sex health. An online questionnaire is used to collect data from respondents. Questionnaire items were related to knowledge, condom use for safe sex, and prevention of STD/HIV. The sample data shows that more than 80% female college students have studied STD/HIV prevention education programs, and the STD/HIV prevention programs already have a positive impact on female college students to improve their willingness to use condoms and pay attention to learn safe sex. It also finds that female college students do discriminate against HIV infection for both have been participated STD/HIV prevention education or not. Even those who have participated STD/HIV prevention program with correct STD/HIV knowledge are still afraid of HIV infected persons and feel shame to use condoms.
