Research on Performance Optimization Method of Edge Collaborative 6LoWPAN Sensor Network

6LoWPAN (IPv6 over Low -Power Wireless Personal Area Networks) as a new generation wireless sensor network standard combining IPv6 and low-power wireless sensor networks, it can assign an independent IPv6 address to each sensor network node and provide end-to-end services to users. In recent years, the rapid development of next-generation IPv6 and the Internet of Things has increased the diversity of data and has also led to an exponential increase in 6LoWPAN devices. The existing sensor cloud technology cannot meet the needs of a large number of users for low data latency, and the emergence of edge computing It provides a new solution. First of all, this article proposes an effective node selection algorithm (EDNS) for the problem of excessive time delay in the data collection process in the 6LoWPAN sensor network. The algorithm collects data of some nodes according to the user's data requirements, and uses the method of reducing nodes to reduce nodes. The time delay and energy consumption in the data collection process. Then, in order to solve the problem that resource-constrained nodes cannot provide computing, this paper proposes a task offloading method based on the 6LoWPAN sensor network, and uses the ant colony algorithm (ACO) to obtain the offloading strategy with the best delay, energy consumption and cost. Finally, the accuracy of the method in this paper is verified through experiments. The results show that our method can reduce the energy consumption and time delay of node data collection through the selection of effective nodes, offload tasks to edge servers, and improve the computing power of sensor network nodes.
