Research on Cross-chain Communication Based on Decentralized Identifier

In recent years, the blockchain technology has developed rapidly, blockchain has important applications in various fields, but the existing blockchain technology is prone to form ledger information islands, and it is difficult to transmit and share data on different chains. In response to the above problems, in this paper, we design a ledger data proxy layer, then use Decentralized Identifier (DID) and the InterPlanetary File System(IPFS) to enable users on different chains to access data and communicate with each other. The proposed scheme in this paper effectively breaks the information barrier and empowers data flow.
