Design and Implementation of Disaster Emergency Life Support Learning System

With the extreme and global disaster situations in this new century, the sustainable development of human beings has seriously affected. How to guarantee the rescue work efficiency of the healthcare professionals in the situations of disasters, and additionally to provide basic self-protection to the public people, has become an important research issue. However, it is not enough to provide enough training to the relevant medical professionals by only relying on the traditional off-line training. In this work, we designed and implemented an on-line learning system about the disaster emergency knowledges and skills for providing the more flexible learning channels and improving the learning efficiency for learners. This system is implemented by Python, HTML5 and Django MTV framework. It can be provided to the learners and teachers. In the learner client, the main functions includes courseware, questionnaire, examinationination and certificate. In the teacher client, the training results can be collected, and the learning feedback is provided through data visualization and natural language processing. This can facilitate teachers to be informed of learners’ learning more intuitively and efficiently. Finally, this system combined with exploratory data analysis to explore the comprehensive factors affecting the training effect, which can provide decision information for the developing a new round program, and contribute to a positive cycle of teaching development. This work deliver the learning system to provides an effective aid for training disaster medical professionals and to improve the overall disaster emergency response capability.
