Theoretical Study of Single Component Dye Concentration Measurement Based on Quantum Tunneling Mechanism

In view of the low accuracy and unstable results of the spectrophotometer based on the Lambert-Beer law in measuring the dye concentration of high-concentration dye, this paper proposed that regarding monochromatic light as photon quantum and treating the dye solution as one-dimensional square barrier of dye molecules. Using the Transfer Matrix to solve the Schrödinger equation to obtain the wave function of the monochromatic light tunneling through the dye solution, and establish the absorbance of the dye solution and the incident monochromatic light according to the relationship between the wave function amplitude and the dye solution absorption spectrum The quantum tunneling measurement model of wavelength and dye solution concentration theoretically verifies the correctness and the accuracy of this model.
