Time Domain Response Analysis of Ship Power Equipment Vibration Isolation System under Shock

Time domain response characteristics of vibration isolation systems for ship power equipment under shock is a key factor to evaluate the shock resistance performance of ship power equipment. In order to analyze the time domain response of single-layer vibration isolation systems for ship power equipment under shock, a single-layer vibration isolation model is established, and the time domain expressions of the unit impulse signal, half-sine wave signal, and rectangular pulse signal, which are commonly used during shock analysis of ship power equipment, are analyzed, and the influence law of different parameters on the shock response characteristics under shock of these signals is theoretically analyzed. Analysis results show that the shock resistance performance of a vibration isolation system can be effectively improved through increasing the damping ratio and reducing the stiffness of the system, and the response amplitude obtained using the rectangular impulse signal is relatively larger, so the analysis using the rectangular impulse signal during ship shock resistance design will more easily ensure the safety of the system.
