Design and Optimization of Light Trap Based on Angular Scattering Particle Counter

The study of the impact of atmospheric change is an important research field which is highly concerned and needs to be strengthened in the future sustainable development in China. At present, the main index for evaluating the atmospheric environment is the air pollution index, and the number of total suspended particulates is an important index among them. In this paper, a particle counter based on Angle scattering method is designed, which can collect the scattered light signal generated by incident laser irradiation of particles in the measurement area. This paper briefly introduces the overall structure of the system, and mainly focuses on the modular design and optimization of the optical trap structure. The light trap absorbs the laser incident into the structure to avoid multiple reflection of the laser in the structure and drown the weak scattered light signal.
