Analyzing Interference Problems in 5G Wireless Network

One of the important components in the development of 5G technology is the access network (wireless) in 5G. In order to produce the desired latency, data rate and capacity, it is necessary to have the appropriate access network technology. One of the important aspects in an access network is interference management. Parameters that can be analyzed to assess the performance of interference management are SINR (Signal to Interference Noise Ratio). In this paper, a simulation using ns-3 is used for several scenarios of 5G utilization and is compared with 4G scenario. The conclusion of the simulation is that the 5G network has a higher SINR value than the 4G network, but more vulnerable to noise when the distance between the UE and eNodeB is far enough.
