Building an Optimal Model of Cognitive Using KLM and Complexity Theory in Human Computer Interface

By the implementation of Keystroke Level model (KLM) in Goals, Operators, Methods, and Selection (GO MS) and cognitive complexity theory over computer interface, a student's cognitive level is scrutinized. When a student answers the questions, the goal factor of evaluation can be measured by the user interaction. The designing of user interface can be developed based on cognitive model by conducting laboratory test to determine the exact task. The time is set as 45 minutes to complete the task for student's test performance. Cognitive complexity theory and Keystroke Level model is specifically used to measure the time task. By the exploit of usability metrics to evaluate in terms of effectiveness test, expertise or efficiency of task and satisfaction test can be processed under usability testing Finally, the system can prove the software quality, based on ISO/IEC 9126-4 Metrics. Moreover, a new calibration curve which can analyze the ability of three independent variable that expresses the goodness fit of corresponding data is discussed for better process in dataset maintenance.
