Optimization Design of Ship Rudder Steering Stability Optimization Control System: Modelling and Computer Simulations

Navigation science and technology has experienced the development process of mechanization, electrification, automation and informatization. The realization of intelligence and autonomy is also the goal of the shipping industry. In recent years, with the rapid development of autonomous system, the application of autonomous technology in the field of transportation has aroused great interest in the industry. According to the working principle of cargo ship and relevant design specifications, this paper summarizes the modeling structure and requirements of the propulsion system, and establishes a simulation platform for the maneuverability of the propulsion system with three degrees of freedom motion based on MATLAB / Simulink simulation software.
