Computerized Prediction of Hereditary Diseases Through DNA Sequence Using Support Vector Machine (SVM)

There are a lot of changes in the lifestyle of an individual these days. As compared to the old generation, this generation is more prone to the diseases. Eating habits and ignorance on physical exercises are also the main reasons for the diseases to attack. Most common diseases like cancer, cardiovascular diseases, Diabetes, BP (Blood Pressure) are the diseases which occur with genes. Some diseases are said to be hereditary diseases which passed down from parents to children. Genetic mutations are the reasons for hereditary diseases. The reason behind this is the genes. By comparing the DNA sequence of children with the DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid) sequence of parents, diseases can be predicted in early stage or much earlier before their attack and can take the precautions accordingly. S upport vector machine (SVM) based computerized DNA based disease prediction system is proposed in this paper.
