Design and Investigation of Grid Associated PV Framework Using PVSYST Software

In this paper, a case study is done on the design of a solar photovoltaic system for an academic institution using the PVsyst software. This work includes both a theoretical outlook of the requirements of the system as well as a simulation of the said system through the software, given a total load of a particular building. The performance of a PV system is subject to the geographical coordinates, climatic conditions of the site, the number of PV modules and their type, the intensity of solar radiations, module orientation, and inverter efficiency. Experimenting with these factors depicts the best conditions under which the system will have the highest efficiency and performance ratio. A review of the various other simulation software is made.
