Ultra-wide band OAM Antenna Based on Circular Phased-array Conical Dielectric Resonator

In order to solve the problems of spectrum resource shortage and low spectrum utilization, an ultra-wideband OAM conical array antenna operating in a millimeter-wave band based on the annular phased array model is proposed in this paper. The conical array antenna is obtained by rotating 12 conical dielectric resonator antenna units clockwise along the z-axis with equal amplitude and a constant phase difference between adjacent units, and the phase difference between two adjacent antenna units is 30°. It is experimentally demonstrated that the antenna can produce ±1±2±3±4±5 vortices in both Ku, K and Ka bands with a relative bandwidth of 75.7%.
