Kinect Based Therapy Games To Overcome Misperception in People With Dysgraphia Using Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment

Dysgraphia is a disorder that affects the ability to write that can be experienced by children. Misperception therapy can be given to children with dysgraphia, but this type of therapy makes children easily bored. There are many studies that have been done to conduct therapy using games and Kinect sensor. In contrast to existing research, this study develops dysgraphia therapy games to overcome misperceptions in children that can be fun. Therapy games are made using Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment with the zero-order Sugeno Fuzzy model so that the difficulty level in the game is dynamic. Tests for therapists indicate that this therapy game can be used as an alternative media for misperception therapy in children. The testing result shows that misperception therapy games are fun to play by children.
