Mathematical and Engineering Solutions Facing COVID-19 Pandemic: A Review

Corona Virus disease (COVID-19) is a new disease started at December 2019 in Wuhan-China and World Health Organization declared officially that COVID-19 is a pandemic at March 2020, this pandemic is counted as the fifth one from 1918. Such situations push the researchers at every field to give their efforts to help people to get through this pandemic. Doctors, Nurses and other medical specialist start to face this situation using the knowledge they have. Beside them researchers in other fields of knowledge try to give some solutions to help the medical staff in their war against the disease. This paper is a review of the mathematical and engineering solutions that helps to know the behavior of the disease and how it spread and to give some methods to reduce the time of diagnosis the patients.
