A Design of Flap Skew Detection Based on Revolver for Civil Aircraft

A design of flaps skew with resolvers is proposed for civil aircraft, which is appropriate for installed resolvers driven by flap motion mechanism. This paper presents analysis of resolver mechanical installation effect on the electronic rigging voltage of revolver, and skew detection thresholds are given by a statistics method used into acquiring the relation between output voltage of revolvers and the skew angles of flaps with consideration of factors that include the excitation voltage and installation errors. Finally, an application case is provided to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed design.
