Evaluation of the Pulse and Temperature of Higher Education System through Modeling and Data Mining

In today’s digital society, the higher education system has a great influence on the present and future of a country. The evaluation of the National Higher Education System (NHES) affects the formulation and adjustment of national policies to a great extent. Based on the methods of data mining and comprehensive evaluation (AHP and TOPSIS), we established the NHES Evaluation System and applied our model to nine countries around the world. We presented the result on two-dimensional map: health score and sustainability score, which evaluated the pulse and temperature of higher education system very well.
