A Bibliometric Analysis on the Ozone Pollution from 1996 to 2021 Based on Web of Science and CiteSpace

A total of 2418 references were obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection. The WoS-based literature analysis was used to realize the general information of ozone pollution research. The CiteSpace 5.7.R5W was used to perform the key words co-words and burst detection analysis, reference co-citation analysis and cooperation network analysis. Research topics in this field mainly focused on three hotspots, espercially the risk assessment and the elucidating the mechanism of ozone pollution on spatial and temporal scale. Analysis of co-keyword timeline of the latest 5 years data identified “radical chemistry”, VOCs and “source-oriented chemical transport” as the emerging research frontiers of this field, which would facilitate one’s understandings and conduct more in-depth researches in the field of ozone pollution.
