Prototype Demonstrating the Co-existence of MIMO Radar and Communications

It is a well-established fact that the usable spectrum is man-made services is limited due to the propagation conditions leading to spectrum congestion in view of the plethora of services like cellular systems and active radio-frequency (RF) sensing requiring larger amounts of spectrum than ever. In this context, it is imminent that active sensing radars need to cope with simultaneous transmissions from wireless communications and vice-versa. While a rigid spectrum allocation regulates the spectrum usage, it has been shown to be inefficient motivating the large body of work on dynamic spectrum access.
