Optimization algorithms for calculation of selected network parameters

This article focuses on the description of selected optimization methods. The optimization methods are one of the subsets of the nature-inspired algorithm. Using optimization methods, it is possible to find the optimal solution for a mathematical or technical problem. The aim of this article is to describe selected optimization methods. Describes what are the advantages, respectively disadvantages of individual groups of these algorithms. The article also describes the possibilities of using optimization algorithms in calculations. At the end of the article, enumerative and Self-Organizing Migrating Algorithm are compared based on different aspects.
