The robot market is growing rapidly as per the increasing demands. Trustworthiness, perfection during repetition, production speed are some reasons to prefer robots instead of laborers in industries. Similar is the scenario for the service robots. In some cases, robots have started replacing human intervention in living space or other assistance related applications. Their effectiveness in performing some obvious household tasks is much impressive and it outperforms that of a human. Household robots are getting popular in the same way as other smart home devices in the market. Although the market involvement for service robots is limited to some developed countries only. In this article, we focus on the economic conditions and market growth conditions of different countries to understand the difficulty faced by service robot products while entering the market of a developing country as compared to developed one. It includes a small survey of people with different professions to understand the demand and mindset of the mass. A market survey of the service robots is done for different applications.
