A Double-Switch With Coupled-Inductor High-Gain DC-DC Converter Feasible For Renewable Energies

In this paper a new step-up dc-dc structure coupled inductor based and a voltage doubling cell had been proposed. The converter operating modes are investigated in CCM. The gain of this converter has been extracted. The proposed circuit has high voltage ratio than similar converters at equal duty ratios. Also, it requires fewer number of transformers per fixed conversion ratio, which reduces the cost, weight and volume of the converter. A 120-Watt prototype circuit has been implemented and the claimed results have all been verified.
