The Developer Nation

As the software engineering community, we continue to struggle to deliver better, faster, cheaper software to serve businesses. However, we don’t seem to reflect and ask frequently enough whether we are serving the ever-increasing number of developers and their needs to enable them to do their job better to develop better, faster, cheaper software. This article discusses the challenge of increasing demand for developers and argues that without a focus on how to better serve developers, recruiting more of them into the profession will not alone solve the demand problem.
