Two-Channel LLC Resonant LED Driver based on Current Sharing Capacitor

In this paper, a two-channel LLC resonant LED driver based on the current sharing capacitor is presented. In the proposed LED driver, the LLC resonant converter is used to step-down the high input voltage and provide a constant current for LEDs. Moreover, each secondary dc-blocking capacitor is used to balance the currents in each LED array. Finally, the operating principle, analysis and experimental results are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed LED driver.
