Estimation of Propagation Performance between IoT Terminals and Gateway Using UHF-bands for Landslides Prediction System

In order to evaluate the propagation performance of the carrier wave with a frequency of 920 MHz band between IoT end devices and gateway, the received power level of the gateway, and the propagation path losses were estimated by using the Okumura-Hata propagation model, Walfisch-Ikegami one, and the ray tracing electromagnetic field simulator. From the experimental and theoretical considerations, it can be confirmed that the Okumura-Hata propagation model and the ray tracing electromagnetic field simulator are useful for local cities and the small areas such as our home town, Kure area respectively.
