Combined Advantages of the Mobile Bearing Design and Cementless Fixation Technique for Total Knee Arthroplasty

The mobile bearing (MB) design and the cementless technique offers specific advantages in total knee arthroplasty (TKA). We investigated the separate advantages of the mobile bearing design and cementless fixation and afterward reviewed studies that compare cementless MB TKA to cemented MB TKA in order to observ survivorship, clinical score, revision causes. We discovered that cementles MB TKA offers a longer survivorship, better clinical results, less revisions, all because of the combining techniques.
