Prevention of possible emergency operation of low voltage receptacle ignition systems during design

The mathematical model of discharge processes in low voltage capacitive ignition systems in emergency mode of relaxation oscillations on the basis of a general method for analysing the stability of autooscillations in electrical circuits is analysed using a common method for evaluating the stability of vehicle oscillations in electrical circuits. A condition for the prevention of emergency relaxation oscillations was obtained and recommendations were given for the selection of parameters of the discharge circuits of low voltage capacitive ignition systems providing the required performance.
