Mechanical shutdown methods for electric machines

Safety devices are an irreplaceable part of mechanisms and devices for various purposes. Their use provides stable protection of systems during operation from failed units. The article proposes to consider one of the possible options for the implementation of the mechanism for disconnecting aircraft electrical machines from drive devices. Various options for the layout of similar units used in the designs of units for various purposes are presented. On their basis, a new version of the node execution is proposed. The given configuration meets the requirements for the execution of such devices as a part of units and systems.
